Sacramento Weddings

Sacramento weddings should NOT be cheesy! When you are planning the most important day of your life, particular care must be made in selecting your Disc Jockey (DJ) for your Northern California wedding. "Cheesy" not only refers to the TYPE of music that the DJ plays, but also the MANNER in which the Disc Jockey conducts himself as a mobile DJ Emcee. For example, during the Garter Removal (when the groom traditionally removes the garter from Bride's leg), nearly all Sacramento wedding DJs play a piece of music called "The Stripper". News flash: Las Vegas style strip tease music does NOT belong at a wedding reception! Does the DJ seem to TALK more than he plays music? This is yet another thing that makes a Sacramento Disc Jockey appear "cheesy."
The best approach is to Let The Music Do The Talking, but make announcements sporadically AS NEEDED to further the event. Finally, what about the music? Does your prospective Disc Jockey let you choose a Do Not Play (DNP) List? The DNP should include ALL of the usual suspects like Macarena, Chicken Dance, or YMCA. No wedding in Sacramento or northern California should allow these songs to be played! Does your DJ offer props & skits? These are so cheesy, that further explanation is not necessary.... Karaoke does not need to be cheesy. Most Karaoke CDG's are poor quality, with tinny or cheesy sounding instrumentals that sound nothing like the Original Artist. Make sure that your Karaoke DJ uses Sound Choice instrumentals-- they are the ONLY CDG company that sounds like original artist versions. Your singers will appreciate the difference. In conclusion, your Sacramento wedding DJ does NOT need to be cheesy. There are plenty of choices available for any given Sacramento wedding date, so CHOOSE WISELY!
